Santhosh Jayaram has spent nearly three decades working with businesses and global institutions to align sustainability, climate action, and long-term value creation. He is Adjunct Professor of Practice at the School of Sustainable Futures, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, teaching Sustainability and Impact Measurement & Management while mentoring emerging changemakers. Previously, he served as Global Head of Sustainability at HCLTech, shaping strategy for one of the world’s top technology companies. Before that, he built and led one of Asia’s largest sustainability advisory practices at KPMG, working across 20+ countries and diverse sectors.
He contributes to policy development as a member of SEBI’s ESG Advisory Committee and the Technical Committee on the Social Stock Exchange, and participated in early development of global sustainability standards like GRI and AccountAbility. His work has been featured in case studies at Harvard and INSEAD. Santhosh advocates sustainability as a source of lasting advantage, where purpose, performance, and impact thrive together.
